- Evaluation of weld Joints — butt joint, fillet joint, hard facing, friction welds, stud welds, spot welds, projection welds and brazed joints
- Evaluation of quality of weld and calculating % depth of penetration
Springs & Components

Impact Toughness
- Charpy Impact Testing as per ASTM E23 /ASTM A370 from RT to -196oC
- Izod Impact Tester
Hardness & Microhardness
- Hardness Testing (Rockwell (A,B,C & Superficial), Brinell, Vickers and Micro Vickers Hardness Tester with stage micrometer for Microhardness Survey)
Sheet/Formability, Coating & Bond
- Erichssen cupping test
- Bond Test (as specified—e.g., coating/overlay adhesion or rebar-concrete bond)
- Paint sample: Puff-off Adhesion test, Cross cut adhesion test, DFT, and Pencil Hardness Tests on paint samples.
FRP / Composites
- Test on fibre reinforced glass
- FRP Material: Flexural test, Tensile test & Compression test on FRP samples
